What is The Transition Network?
The Transition Network is an inclusive community of professional women, 50 and forward, whose changing life situations lead them to seek new connections, resources and opportunities. Through small group interactions, programs and workshops, members inspire and support each other to continue a life of learning, engagement and leadership in the world. As a national organization, The Transition Network is a voice for women who continue to change the rules.

Why does The Transition Network need donations?  I already pay annual membership dues.
Donations are needed to supplement dues and have played a vital role throughout TTN's history. The generosity of founders Charlotte Frank and Christine Millen in TTN's early years was crucial, and a grant from the New York State Health Foundation helped us develop our innovative Caring Collaborative program. Our expenses include a small staff; website maintenance; preparation of tax returns, audited financials and state charity registrations; event registration software so members can sign up for the hundreds of events that are organized by our amazing volunteers; marketing; development of programs (such as the Women in Transition and On Resilience workshops, the Discover webinars, and Breaking Free peer groups for members who don't live where we have a chapter); and Constant Contact email and Zoom video conferencing software to stay in touch with our numerous and far-flung members and chapter leaders.   

TTN is proud to have been awarded Guidestar’s 2019 Platinum Seal of Transparency and is a Better Business Bureau Accredited Charity. TTN's tax returns and audited annual reports are available on our website
