United Nations International Day of Older Persons
Yes, there is such a day!

On December 16, 1991, the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted its "Principles for Older Persons."  As I read through the resolution, I thought about how much in alignment TTN is with these fundamental principles of respect, dignity and care.  Click here to read the Resolution.

TTN Telephone Peer Groups for National Members - Coming in September 2016
Serving as facilitator of the first-ever TTN Telephone-Based Peer Group, back in September 2007, which connects women from the east coast to the west coast (from LA to CT), continues to be a pleasure and a wonderful work-in-progress. The group continues to provide a positive and helpful atmosphere and it is truly a support system for women in transition and moving into, or in, the retirement phase of their lives.
