On a summer evening, in a city where entertainment options abound, an enthusiastic crowd of DC-area women gathered to talk about the intersection of grit, perseverance and transition with Robin Koval, co-author with Linda Kaplan Thaler of Grit to Great: How Perseverance, Passion and Pluck Take You from Ordinary to Extraordinary. In a lively Q & A, Robin shared lessons of her transition from award-winning NYC advertising executive to her encore career as CEO of Truth Initiative.
