Rebecca Eddy, MBA, CDMM^®, a long-time member of TTN, is a co-founder and partner of Eddy & Schein Group with 30+ years’ experience as a financial organizer and Certified Daily Money Manager (CDMM®) for seniors and high-net-worth individuals.  Rebecca was the founding president of the Greater New York Chapter of the American Association of Daily Money Managers, serving for five years, and was one of the first Certified Daily Money Managers in New York City.

 

Rebecca has been a leader in raising public awareness about preparing for the later years, with everything in place for enjoyment and peace of mind. She blogs regularly, has been a speaker at national conferences and has led numerous workshops and webinars training others in her field. She has been published in the New York State Bar Association Elder Law Section newsletter, several National Association of Professional Organizers newsletters, and most recently in How to Hire a Caregiver for Your Senior, a book written by Guy Maddalone. Rebecca earned her BA from Kirkland College (sister to Hamilton College) and her MBA from the Yale School of Management.

Anne Markowitz Recht, LMSW, CMC  is a Licensed Master Social Worker in New York State and a Certified Care Manager from the National Academy of Certified Care Managers.  Anne is the Director of Care Management for Caring People, Inc. She is the founder and former CEO of AMR Care Group, a Care Management and Companion Services company that merged with Caring People in January, 2020.  Caring People offers a continuum of health care services for seniors and people with disabilities, with offices in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Florida and Texas.  Before starting AMR Care Group Anne was the Director of Family and Children’s Association’s Guardianship program.  Anne’s previous career was in Marketing and she served as the Director of Marketing and Membership at the Mid-Island Y JCC.  

Anne received a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Albany State University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University.  She completed the Goldman Sachs 10K Small Business program for entrepreneurs in 2016.  Anne has presented  on various topics relating to aging for The New York State Bar Association; The National Business Institute; Nassau Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers; the New York City Bar, National Aging Life Care Association, Private Duty Association as well the financial services industry, hospitals and other health care entities. She has also presented for Guardian and Court Examiner training for the NY State Office of Court Administration. 

Anne is the recipient of the Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation’s Outstanding Service Award for 2004; she is the President of the New York Chapter of the Aging Life Care Association.
