Many of us believe in equality, diversity, and inclusion. The question is how we stand up for those values in these turbulent times. During this very special TTN Discover Webinar, Dr. Dolly Chugh will share her research and perspective on fighting for what you believe in.
Dolly Chugh is an award-winning social psychologist at the NYU Stern School of Business, where she is an expert in the unconscious biases of ordinary good people. Her book, The Person You Mean to Be is an inspiring guide on how to confront difficult issues including sexism, racism, inequality, and injustice so that you can make the world (and yourself) better. During our time together, she will share her research findings on unconscious bias and offers practical tools to respectfully and effectively talk politics with family, to be a better colleague to people who don’t look like you and to avoid being a “well intentioned” barrier to equality. “Becoming the person we mean to be” starts with a look at ourselves.
Registration for this event includes a copy of Dr. Chugh's book, The Person You Mean to Be: How Good People Fight Bias in either e-book or hard cover format.
The confirmation of your registration will contain a link for you to register on Zoom and tell us which format of the book you prefer so please do this as soon as you receive your confirmation.
