For many, death is a taboo and uncomfortable subject. Since 2011, Death Café has moved the conversation out in the open. Join us for a safe, respectful discussion on death that may assuage your fears and in the process, help you discover ways to live life more fully. Death Cafe is not counseling or therapy but a group-directed conversation without a specific agenda. For more information about this volunteer organization and its history, visit deathcafe.com.
After some opening remarks and introductions, we’ll split up into smaller virtual groups to share our thoughts and feelings in a more intimate setting, then come back together for some final sharing and inspiration.
Join us! Because conversing with others about the one thing we all share in common can be surprisingly fulfilling.
TTN Chicago’s Death Café will be facilitated by Rebekka James, who also led TTN’s sold-out Death Café in 2019. She is a writer and Certified Life-Cycle Celebrant who believes embracing mortality can lead to a more fully realized life. Learn more about Rebekka here: https://www.ceremoniesbyrebekka.com/
