Headline: Climate Change and What You Can Do: A Discussion with TTN Member and Climate Activist Pamela Tate
(An Invitation from the TTN Chicago Chapter)

The Climate Reality Project is a global initiative created to make urgent action on climate change a necessity. The organization asserts that we have only until 2030—less than ten years—to reverse the worst effects of the warming of Earth’s atmosphere. Led by former US Vice President Al Gore and CEO and President Ken Berlin, The Climate Reality Project does this by empowering everyday people to become activists, equipped with the tools, training, and network to fight for solutions and drive change planet-wide. The result is over 20,000 Climate Reality Leaders mobilizing communities in over 150 countries.

TTN member Pamela Tate is a Climate Action Leader who will share information about the climate crisis and what each individual can do while there is still a chance to rescue the planet for our children and grandchildren. She will discuss the Climate Reality Project and the training itself, the data that Al Gore and his team of scientists have been gathering about the climate crisis, and what each individual can do to help reverse these disastrous trends. Pam spent 31 years as president and CEO of a national educational non-profit based in Chicago, and left this full-time job in 2018 in order to devote her life to helping combat global warming and the many consequences that come from it such as food and water scarcity, political instability, sea level rise and the extinction of species.

Join us for an eye opening and empowering session, and learn about what you can do to affect change!
