Death Café (for Members and their Guests Only) -- FREE
For many, death is a taboo and uncomfortable subject. Yet, there is a movement underway called Death Café designed to openly discuss death, so as to live life more fully. Death Café is a global, all-volunteer organization and more than 9,000 sessions reaching nearly 100,000 people have been held since its inception in 2011.Please come to our TTN Chapter’s first Death Café, a free event for members-only, on Saturday, September 14, from 10:00 a.m. to noon. In a safe and relaxed setting, participants can share their ideas, experiences and fears about death. This Death Café will be facilitated by Rebekka James, a writer and Certified Life-Cycle Celebrant who believes embracing mortality can lead to a more fully realized life. Conversing with others about the one thing we ALL share in common can be a surprising start! Light refreshments provided.
Registration required to attend. Limited to 15 members and their guests.
** Because of limited spots, we ask that you register only if you and your guests are committed to attending and will be able to stay the entire two hours. Thank you!
