How do our relationships change as we age? Divorce, death, re-marriage, and empty nests all trigger apprehension, stress and sadness. But they can also signal renewal – of the spirit and the heart.
The fastest growing segment of the population to be using social media is us – women over 50! The explosive growth of social networking cannot be understated. And what’s more fun that reconnecting with former classmates or keeping in touch with long-distance family on Facebook or sharing photos of your loved ones on photo-sharing sites like Flickr or Shutterfly. And LinkedIn is a critical tool for women still working or creating a new career.
“The world’s mine oyster” says Pistol in Shakespeare’s Merry Wives of Windsor. And TTN women are not only exploring the four corners of our world in search of new experiences, they are also finding ways to give back through volunteer vacations and other service-oriented programs.
