Letters of Appreciation from Organizations

February 23, 2021
Dear Sue and TTN Stitchers,
Thank you so much for the many beautiful red scarves which you have donated. Each one is unique, all with different patterns.
They will be most appreciated by those who receive them. We, as well as our recipients, appreciate the creativity of our knitters and crocheters.
We always have need for warm items.  Donations like yours will enable our volunteers to make items which will bring comfort to those in shelters, hospitals, hospices, nursing homes, and to veterans.

We appreciate your support and look forward to your continued participation
 Stay safe!

Dear Judy and the TTN Team!

Our families most definitely had a terrific and memorable time at last night’s celebration! Your work behind the scenes planning and preparing, along with your direct involvement at our Fall Festival/Halloween Happening, significantly contributed to the success of the festivities. Thank you for arranging the inviting craft activities, preparing exciting and delicious candy bags, and helping to serve the pizza. The labor intensive dedication on the part of the TTN volunteers to setting up and delivering a beautiful Halloween costume boutique would not be the same without your efforts!

We are extremely grateful to partner with the Transition Network. It is due to this collaboration that, last night, we were able to offer an atmosphere of family fun and long lasting memories for our families during a time of crisis. In addition, we were able to create a space conducive for families to enjoy qualitative time as a family unit, paving the way for conversation and connectiveness.

Thank you so much for all of your efforts!!!

Dear Sue and Members of the TTN Stitchers,

Thank you so much for the beautiful blankets which you have recently donated. They are perfect,
colorful and comforting. I know they will be most appreciated. We are receiving more and more
requests forblankets from hospice and nursing homes to veterans at the VA and in homeless shelters.
Since you have joined us, your chapter has been so consistent and involved. It is a pleasure to come and
visit when you meet at Sue’s. Your work is truly a team effort and we thank Sue for leading the way.
For all your dedication to us we are very grateful. I’m so proud of what we have accomplished together. It’s Women’s History Month and I think we are making history right here on Long Island!

Hello Joan,

Please accept our heartfelt thank you for your, and your fellow TTN volunteers, donation of time. Your gift wrapping on the December 13th and December 19th was greatly appreciated.

Hope For Youth serves some of Long Island’s most vulnerable children and/or families. For 50 years, children and adolescents have arrived at our doors in need of the love, support and guidance every child deserves.

Our supporters assist us in carrying out our mission; to facilitate positive change in the lives of children,
these youth and their families.

Our youth had a wonderful holiday season! Again, thank you on behalf of the Hope For Youth agency, for your contributions to our holiday.

Warmest wishes for 2020!

Dear Sue and TTN Stitchers,

Thank you so much for the beautiful warm items which you have donated. They are perfect and will be welcomed by all who receive them, especially during this very cold weather.
Your continued commitment to helping us bring comfort to those in need is much appreciated. You produce wonderful and meaningful items under
Sue’s leadership. We are, especially, grateful for your group blankets.
We know they take time and talent. I was luck y enough to see you putting one together on my last visit to your chapter.
We always have need for warm items. Your donation will provide
the means which will help bring comfort to those in shelters, hospitals, hospices, nursing homes and to veterans.
We appreciate your support and look forward to your continued participation in CARE TO KNIT.

Hi Judy!
The gifts were lovely, and the moms were thrilled!  They thanked us many times for taking the time to make their day special and appreciated TTN’s gesture.  Every mom received one. Most have received the bread.  All remaining breads went into the pantry.
A million hugs!

Dear Sue and TTN Stitchers,

It gave me great pleasure to meet Betty Volpe outside her home and receive

all the beautiful work you have done while at home before and during the

past 7 months. It has been a challenge for all of us and I’m happy to report

that we have started donating again.

Your beautiful blankets are going to the VA Hospital and the hats and scarves to local agencies on Long Island. There is a great need, especially since the pandemic has caused other donors to be unavailable to them.
Your chapter has been such a great part of what we do and we thank you

for continuing to help us serve those in need.

I hope you and your families are well and staying safe and that you find comfort in your talent. It is a precious gift.

Warm regards,
Ines Basso Glick
