Dear Sue and TTN Stitchers,

Thank you so much for the many beautiful red scarves which you have donated. Each one is unique, all with different patterns.

They will be most appreciated by those who receive them. We, as well as our recipients, appreciate the creativity of our knitters and crocheters.

We always have need for warm items.  Donations like yours will enable our volunteers to make items which will bring comfort to those in shelters, hospitals, hospices, nursing homes, and to veterans.

We appreciate your support and look forward to your continued participation
in CARE TO KNIT.

 Stay safe!
 Sincerely,
 Ines Basso Glick

Dear Judy and the TTN Team!

Our families most definitely had a terrific and memorable time at last night’s celebration! Your work behind the scenes planning and preparing, along with your direct involvement at our Fall Festival/Halloween Happening, significantly contributed to the success of the festivities. Thank you for arranging the inviting craft activities, preparing exciting and delicious candy bags, and helping to serve the pizza. The labor intensive dedication on the part of the TTN volunteers to setting up and delivering a beautiful Halloween costume boutique would not be the same without your efforts!

We are extremely grateful to partner with the Transition Network. It is due to this collaboration that, last night, we were able to offer an atmosphere of family fun and long lasting memories for our families during a time of crisis. In addition, we were able to create a space conducive for families to enjoy qualitative time as a family unit, paving the way for conversation and connectiveness.

Thank you so much for all of your efforts!!!

Warmly,
Lisa

Hi Judy!
The gifts were lovely, and the moms were thrilled!  They thanked us many times for taking the time to make their day special and appreciated TTN’s gesture.  Every mom received one. Most have received the bread.  All remaining breads went into the pantry.
A million hugs!
Lisa

Dear Sue and TTN Stitchers,

It gave me great pleasure to meet Betty Volpe outside her home and receive

all the beautiful work you have done while at home before and during the

past 7 months. It has been a challenge for all of us and I’m happy to report

that we have started donating again.

Your beautiful blankets are going to the VA Hospital and the hats and scarves to local agencies on Long Island. There is a great need, especially since the pandemic has caused other donors to be unavailable to them.
Your chapter has been such a great part of what we do and we thank you

for continuing to help us serve those in need.

I hope you and your families are well and staying safe and that you find comfort in your talent. It is a precious gift.

Warm regards,
Ines Basso Glick
Executive Director

Dear Sue and TTN Stitchers,

Thank you so much for your recent donations. The blankets and hats are
beautiful, as always. The baby blankets will be donated to Newborns in Need.
It is perfect timing since they hold a donation drive every year at this time.
The hats will go to the Jackman Foundation as they will be filling backpacks again this year.

I know your donations will bring smiles and comfort to new moms and dads as they wrap their newborns in your blankets. Your hats will keep grade schoolers warm as they make their way back to school next winter.

We, as well as our recipients, appreciate the creativity of our knitters and crocheters. You bring a smile to our faces, too.

Thank you for staying active during the pandemic. I hope you are all well and
will enjoy a safe and happy summer.

                                        Sincerely,
                                         Ines Basso Glick
