Columbus Chapter TTN Committees
TTN is a success because of the time committee members are willing to give. Please contact one of the committee chairs and volunteer. We need you!
Chapter Lead - The Chapter Lead is the primary focal point for TTN to the community, organizes and runs all Steering Committee meetings, and makes announcements at monthly TTN meetings. She is the Central Ohio liaison to the National organization and serves a two-year term. The Chapter Lead can serve on the Steering Committee as Chapter Lead- Elect for up to one year before becoming Lead.
Program - The Program Committee provides a calendar of monthly programs with final approval of the Steering Committee. Topics are chosen based upon national and chapter surveys and member suggestions from program feedback forms. Committee members enlist speakers or panelists, many of whom are from TTN membership. Committee members facilitate monthly TTN meetings, including member group discussions, and submit newsletter articles promoting programs.
Membership - The Membership Committee welcomes TTN members and visitors to monthly meetings. Committee members attend the registration table, collect visitor and membership fees, and distribute welcome packets and name tags. Committee members email each potential member to thank them for coming and to encourage their return. Anyone interested in Central Ohio TTN is added to the newsletter list. General information is sent to any woman inquiring about Central Ohio TTN.
Finance - The Finance Committee prepares and presents monthly and YTD income and expense reports for the Steering Committee, facilitates budget and spending discussions , balances and reconciles the checking account, pays bills and makes deposits. The Committee collects money paid at monthly meetings, enters transactions on the TTN National online records site, emails National with new member information and mails deposit slips and receipts over $25 to TTN National.
Marketing - The Marketing Committee assists in increasing overall visibility and membership of the Central Ohio chapter. Members serve on special events committees as needed, assist with community outreach strategy and activities, identify and recommend key partnership opportunities to marketing committee members, and participate in key partnership organizations as a representative of TTN.
Newsletter - The Newsletter Committee requests, writes, compiles and edits submissions for the monthly newsletter. Submissions include upcoming program descriptions, local announcements, Renewal and New Member Spotlight columns, photos from programs and selected articles and TTN authors from the National newsletter. The Editor helps get articles and proofreads final copy.
