Tell us a little about yourself:
I began my career in accounting over 30 years ago. During the decades and years that followed, I worked in various membership organizations implementing and managing accounting and finance functions. I became self-employed last year. My business specializes in providing accounting and data analysis services. I love to travel and read.
How do you handle stress and pressure?
I manage stress by being organized and keeping positive attitude. I find that maintaining open lines of communication with family and friends where we support and encourage each other automatically reduces a lot of stress. I remind myself to be grateful every day.
How do you define Success?
I view success incrementally. As someone who is invigorated by new, complex challenges, I never want to find myself in a situation where I feel as if there is nothing left to learn. If I can end each day satisfied that I have learned something new, this counts as success to me.
Why did you join The Transition Network?
I see The Transition Networks as a group of professional and well accomplished women. I want very much to be a part of this network and build long lasting connections.
