Deliciousness at New Mexico Food Festival

TTN members traveled to El Rancho de las Golondrinas on August 5th for their New Mexican Food Fest. During "tent talks" we learned about the wide varieties of New Mexican chiles and their preparation as well as the creation of a cacao drink based on an ancient recipe. Samples of these delicacies were savored along with bischocitos fresh from the oven and a most unusual porridge-like dish. Still "back in time" we engaged in the craft of making little corn husk dolls
