Support TTN

Susan Collins, Executive Director

As Executive Director of The Transition Network (TTN), Susan has lived the transition that the organization was founded to support.  After leaving her long-time career in homebuilding in 2007, she joined TTN, became a member of the steering committee of her local chapter, then decided she wanted to lead the organization and bring the message of “embracing change after 50” to as many other women as possible.

Before joining TTN, Susan founded Collins Consulting Group.  She used her expertise in leadership development, sales, marketing, operations and process improvement to teach business owners how to lead their teams to better performance.  She worked with clients to clarify the roles and responsibilities of their employees, and trained on effective interview, hiring and management techniques.  She also created marketing plans and consulted on effective sales management.
As a 20-year veteran of the homebuilding business, Susan was involved in all aspects of the business.  As Vice-President of the Philadelphia division of a large national homebuilder, she led a team of sales and marketing professionals to record sales of over 850 homes generating $350 Million in revenues in 2005.  She was responsible for creation and implementation of initiatives that standardized products and streamlined processes and also developed a highly successful college recruiting program which was modeled in divisions throughout the country.

Susan is available for speaking engagements and panel discussions on the importance of women and the important contribution they make at this exciting stage of their lives.
